I decided to base my magazine on blast. I started to research ideas and organizations that used blast as their name. A few websites i found whilst doing this were the blast website for the bbc and a art and film venue. I thought I could maybe design a magazine based on these companies websites, but they didnt bring many possibilities to really experiment with typography and composition within my own magazine.
So I carried on brain storming and experimenting and came up with the idea of explosions and this lead me to think of war and attack. My final decision was to base it on the 9/11 and 7/7 terrorist attacks on the twin towers and london underground and busses.
