I couldn't find out who created the image, but i did like how they combine two images and ideas in one. This lead me to experiment with collage and combinations of different things. Thinking about the idea of the twin towers being destroyed right down to the ground, i thought of actually ripping out the twin towers from an image, and placing the text, which i thought appropriate, into the blank space:
I also looked at city skylines and silhouettes, and thought of replacing elements, trying to reflect the idea of destruction and things changing within cities:
My idea was to combine text and image in one image, merging them so that there is no two things on the page. I was thinking about how the city is bombed and changed into something different, with the text being the element that has changed and destroyed the skyline image, and acting as terrorism:
